About Anna

Currently based out of Minneapolis and New York City, Anna grew up in Minnesota and started dancing around the age of four. At eight, she started dancing at Minnesota Dance Theatre, which ignited her love of ballet. She was given many opportunities such as performing in Loyce Houlton's Nutcracker Fantasy, attending summer intensives at American Ballet Theatre and Kaatsbaan Ballet, and performing with Minnesota Dance Theatre's company.

Anna decided to pursue musical theatre after falling in love with it being exposed to the expansive theatre community in Minneapolis. She earned a B.A. at St. Mary's University of Minnesota in Musical Theatre along with several performance opportunities, including those in London and Dublin.  

Upon graduation, Anna moved to New York City to pursue her dreams. Since then, she has been granted the opportunity to perform regionally at the Guthrie Theater, Fireside Theatre, Arizona Broadway Theatre, Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, MGM Beau Rivage, and the Old Log Theatre. She made her NYC, Off Broadway debut in the Vital Theatre Company's production of Angelina Ballerina the Musical. Recently Anna’s world came full circle when invited to dance with the Minnesota Opera in The Daughter of the Regiment, as a ballet dancer, for their 60th anniversary season at the Ordway. When not performing, she is usually found taking a ballet class, learning up on fashion and art history, hunting around for the best chocolate chip cookie, and dog watching.

Anna is currently represented by Wehmann Models & Talent, Moore Creative Talent, and Meredith Model & Talent Agency where they have provided her with opportunities such as being featured in the series I Was There on the History Channel, commercials, and fit modeling for brands such as Evereve, Mott50, and print modeling for Target.

Upcoming Anna will be performing in Cirque: Spirit of Christmas (ballet only, no acro or circus yet, but she is hoping to learn how to do a proper handstand).
